This elegant traditional black abiya is an easy to wear one piece cover with neat besom arm openings. Made by refuge sisters from Afghanistan the decorated front inset and attached "cap" shows their beautiful expert embroidery work. The mesh face panel grid and diamond pleats below the cap are beautifully needle worked by hand. The lower pleats provide fuller flare or can be let down for extra length. Made of silky, medium-weight peachskin; this abiyah measures 60 inches from crown to bottom hem.
